Get to Know the Team - Tammy

Hello and welcome to our "Get to Know the Team" blog series! Proudly South African at our core, Wealthbit is growing into a truly global business with teammates around the world,  from Cape Town to South Korea, Salt rock to the UK.

Each month, we want to introduce you to one of those phenomenal teammates of our Wealthbit family, who are dedicated to our mission of creating financial freedom for our clients.

This month (drum roll please...) we would like to introduce you to Tammy - our Operations Manager - who ensures that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Tammy spent 14 years in the creative industry before joining us at Wealthbit. She started as a receptionist and worked her way up to become a General Manager for 8 years. Her journey at Wealthbit started in June 2021 when she decided to embark on a new adventure in the financial world. Her experience in the industry and her previous role as a General Manager showcase her ability to support our business and team effectively. She is passionate about creating a work environment that promotes growth and is constantly looking to add value to our business.

As the Operations Manager, Tammy takes care of all the behind-the-scenes day-to-day functions of the business, providing support to our team and ensuring that our critical systems runs smoothly. Her holistic approach and empathy towards our team and clients make her an invaluable asset to our business.

What Tammy loves most about working at Wealthbit is the people. She says “We have incredibly smart, intentional and purpose driven people working at Wealthbit. We are all driven to make a difference in this world by promoting growth within each other, the business and ultimately sharing that with as many lives as we can”.  

When Tammy isn't working as our Ops ninja, she loves reading (mostly fantasy and non-fiction books), playing tabletop games, anything comic book and anime related and running. She also loves spending time with her 5-year-old daughter and husband, and they are currently enjoying the outdoor living and activities that KZN has to offer since moving there a year ago.

In conclusion, Tammy's empathy, care, and attention to detail make her an essential member of our team. We are grateful to have her at Wealthbit and look forward to the contributions she will continue to make as we strive to educate and empower our clients in their financial journeys.
