Welcome to our Get to Know the Team blog series! Each month we will be shining the spotlight on someone, giving you the opportunity to get to know each member of our Wealthbit family a little bit better. Proudly South African at its core, Wealthbit is growing into a truly global business with teammates around the world who work with passion and dedication to our ideals. From Cape Town to South Korea, Salt rock to the UK, we want to introduce you to some of our phenomenal colleagues who are taking the South African financial management world by storm.

This month we are getting to know Aninda Moss, a junior developer and expert on all things data. Handling all the complicated asset data, Aninda helps collect and normalize these complex codes and numbers so that we can understand and apply it within the Wealthbit platform. She joined Wealthbit back in 2020, and was recruited to simplify and manage the data cleaning and ingestion process from asset providers across South Africa.

Based in Rayton, in the far East of Pretoria, the thing that Aninda loves the most about Wealthbit is the incredible company culture. Being part of a team that fundamentally values the practice of teamwork, where everyone understands the importance of working together, supporting and encouraging one another to excel. When asked what excites her most about the future of Wealthbit, she said, “It’s amazing to see how quickly the team at Wealthbit is growing and I am super excited to see us reach new heights, in new countries and with new talent!”.

Wealthbit is not just a team of financial and technical experts, we are made up of a diverse group of people with many hidden talents! Years before she became a skilled developer, Aninda was a professional dancer. She decided to leave school in Grade 4 and was home-schooled in order to pursue her dance career. She won North Gauteng SA’s and danced in American competitions in 2006 & 2008. Acrobatics being her focus, Aninda excelled in the world of dance until a career-ending injury in 2008.

Aninda is a keen photographer and when she is not behind a computer, she can be found crocheting and reading her favourite book, Encouragement by Larry Crabb – one she holds dear to her heart. It’s people like Aninda, who has an equal love for both cats and dogs (we tried to get her to choose!) who we are incredibly excited to have on the team at Wealthbit and can’t wait to see what the future holds!
